I depart for Uganda in just a few short hours. The team needs your covering. The opposition and events surrounding this trip have been, let’s say very interesting. Resistance on all fronts, here and in Uganda has hit. So we need those strongholds to come down!

Please pray for the following:
Complete Unity of the Team… For the Gifts of the Spirit to operate in full manifestation.
For the Lord to shine bright through each one of us.
For protection over the entire team as we go and come.
For the children at the Orphanage. We received a message that the there was an attempt to burn down the orphanage.
For health over the entire team… for our strength to be renewed, our sleep to be refreshing and for our bodies to be strengthened from the same Spirit that Raised Jesus from the dead.
For the needs of the Children: For the Love of God to touch their hearts and secure the hope for a future.
For the individuals who are on the “fringe” of making a decision for Christ, like Paul (Saul) who persecuted Christians, to surrender their lives to the God of Life.
For whatever comes upon your heart as you put the entire team up in prayer.

Scripture that the Lord gave me for this trip:

Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. My message shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the light rain upon the tender grass; and as the showers upon the herb. For I will proclaim the name and presence of the Lord. Concede and ascribe greatness to our God!

900+hugs goodbye… Thank you Lord for the hugs of the Children as I left. That expression of Love has been put in my heart and mind forever. I believe that the hugs were more for me than they were for the Children.

STRIVING TOGETHER WITH THE CHURCHES FOR THE FAITH OF THE GOSPEL:
Working with the Methodist Church, Assemblies of God Church and the Rock Church from VA. Each has a part to bring Heaven to Earth.

MINISTRY IN THE INTERIOR AND VALLEY
Every other weekend was spent in the Interior with the Indian Division sharing the gospel and planting a church. Oh how marvelous.
Trekking to the the Valley and Interior with Jordan, a young man studying to be a pastor, whose heart is so pure and humble. What an honor it was to minister with him as we went through the rivers, through the forest and up the mountains… to all remote places and people who don’t have visitors.
What precious house calls they were to encourage the believers, share the gospel and pray for the sick and afflicted.

THE JOHNSON FAMILY AND THE ROCK CHURCH:
Pastor Lenard and Serena Johnson from St. Louis, MO and Candace, Danielle, Janelle, Daniel and Olivia (miss mandarin)
Working with Rock Church to share the gospel as we visited the sick in the valley together and traveled to Nambitu Indian School for a special visit.
Not to mention, allowed me to drive on accha and karab restabi (good and bad road) all on the wrong (left) side.

KOROTOGO VILLAGE MINISTRY
Ministry to those who lived in the village I stayed in and the friendships I developed.
The Children in the village who invited their “teacher” to their homes which allowed the Lord to touch the hearts of the parents with the Love of God.
The students who I was able to do house calls and help on homework struggles.
To my neighbor who spoke and confirmed things that are to come to me and the great things yet to come.
To My Caretakers who now have a deeper understanding of the Love of God and taught me how to cook real Indian Food.

FOR MY EXTRA SPECIAL GIFT OF A FRIEND: Who without doubt I know is a gift from the Lord.

My second “last day” at the primary school I ended up doing an impromptu devotional for my Class 7 r/j. This class of 60 teens (7th graders) is so special to me. I have been overwhemly blessed by how they pulled on me to share more and more about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

I stopped in at 11:00 and since they did not have their morning devotional, they asked me for one more. I stood there smiling. I told them that I needed to pray for a minute as this was not planned but I believed that the Lord had a special message for them….

After praying in the Spirit for a few minutes.. the message came..
Jesus did not say “good-bye” rather, Jesus said “I’ll see You later, I’m coming back!!!”

Oh what a grand message about the promised return of our Lord and Savior was shared with the Children.
My parting words, were, “I’m coming back, so I’ll see you later.” They blessed me beyond measure when they replied. “We’ll see you then.”

Thank You Lord, for giving me the honor and privilege of teaching and imparting into these 60 precious “little” ones. I thank You for continuing to pour out Your precious Holy Spirit upon the children and continue to train them up in the way that they should walk. In Jesus Mighty and Matchless Name. AMEN!!!

Result: Distribution of Love…..

This was a huge blessing for me… after the ministry program, I told the children that if any of them wanted a hug, to come up and I’d be delighted to give them one. It is an opportunity to lay hands on them and pray over the children. One by one they all came. It was beautiful!

Once the hugging was complete, I visited the class rooms. As I walked in, they said Isu i ne (Jesus loves you in Chinese), which was so wonderful as they remembered what I taught them at Easter. The Holy Spirit recalled it to their remembrance. Praise the Lord….

During lunch, the headmaster told me that the children were also so excited about the paper cross I taught them how to make with one tear. Again, it was something that I had done in the Easter program. Thank you Lord for what you had me do at Easter.

After lunch, Mr. Dass gave me some paper and I went out to the children to make some crosses. Pass the test.. this is a smart group of students, as I did not need to show them how to make the crosses. They all remembered how to do it. So, they first formed groups and made crosses to give to me as groups, then they individually started to make crosses.

After the crosses, they asked if I could give them another hug. Answer was easy, OF COURSE. So they lined up again.
By the time we were done, I think I gave three rounds of hugs. There was one little boy who I know came through the line 4 times. I was the one who was ministered to and it was priceless…
