Teaching in the Primary School

I’ve been teaching almost every day in the Primary school. The past two weeks, I’ve had class Class 7 for the morning devotional time. It has been devotions on worship in Spirit and Truth.

Beautiful sums it up. It has been instruction on the Holy Spirit and we’ve been getting songs and hymns and Spiritual melodies in our hearts. It has been so precious to hear the children (60+) sing in tongues in worship. Hard to put into words, but simply beautiful. On Thursday, the Holy Spirit started a new “song” for the Children to sing…. They are just so excited as the worship and praise stirs their hearts. Mine too. Below is one of the Spirit Inspired songs that I’ve taught the Children.. It has to do with the Holy Ghost and Fire and what we are to do!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire….

This is a Holy Spirit Inspired Song that the Lord had given me right before I departed for Fiji. My chior director, 5 1/2 year old, Troyana, and I started singing this one night after having “special” time together. It has developed into a beautiful song to teach all children (little and big) about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my hands
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my hands
What do I do?
I lay my hands upon the sick and they will recover right quick,
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my hands
That’s what do I do!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my feet
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my feet
What do I do?
I will hit the streets and share the good news to all I meet
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my feet
That’s what do I do!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my Heart
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my Heart
What do I do?
I say Lord reveal to me all that you have planned for me
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my Heart
That’s what do I do!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Lips
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Lips
What do I do?
I will speak the things that Heaven will Bring so we all will sing,
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Lips
That’s what do I do!!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Head
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Head
What do I do?
I say pour it all out on me so I can do all you want me to.
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire on my Head
That’s what do I do!!

I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my life
What do I do?
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my life
What do I do?
I will press on through to give the Glory to You because that is what I’m taught to do,
I’ve got the Holy Ghost and Fire in my life
That’s what I do!
AMEN!

The Love through the Flood…..

Dinner with Ray and Roveena…..The water supplier. God is good as he set up a ministry opportunity by having a “flood” with the water cooler. Ray and Roveena came over the previous Wednesday to take care of a flooding problem with my water cooler.

What was quickly realized was that the flood was just used to get them to the house so Roveena could be ministered to. Roveena was struggling with her daughter and was really hurting. As we talked, it was evident that her upbringing in a Islamic home (iron fist when it comes to the girls) was pushing her daughter away. I minister to her about LOVE and how to apply it with her daughter. I prayer over her and the Holy Ghost fills her. She’s got tears of joy and quickly says, Please come over for dinner. I want to make you dinner.

Today was national youth day so, no school. It was easy to go to their house for dinner and she tells me how just that simple ministry to her about “loving her daughter” and guideing her instead of “oppressive ruling” her daughter. So much joy and Roveena says how she is approaching her daughter has changed everything. Glory to God!

The dinner was swaad kanna (tasty food) and we had such sweet fellowship. They want me to come back for a “feast” of roasted duck at a later date….

May I hold your hand and pray

Today is “Health Check” day at school. It is quite an amazing event as the Ministry of health comes in and weighs, measures, does oral hygine checks and vision screening.

One of the most favorite things is the gives vaccination process for the Children. Since Cyclone Gene went through, ALL the students are getting a tetanus shot. The “tough boys” were not tough any longer. So, I held hands and prayed for those children who were “afraid” for the shots. I tell you then number of boys who grabbed onto my hand was funny. Alligator tears welled up in their eyes. I prayed for them before the shots and then talked to them through the process. Did not even hurt many of them said. Glory to God.

Only thing is, boys will be boys….. after they were through the “painful part” of the shot, they thought it would be “funny” to hit each other in the arms after the shots, until they cried…. Anyone have a box of kleenex?

In the School for the students or Teachers???

Can you pray for my wife….Mr. Prasad appraoched me today and asked if I was free during lunch. On the Friday before, it was mentioned that his wife was having serious heart problems. He had left the room and Sangita (another Christian teacher) and I went to find him. We talked with him about praying for his wife. She was in the Hospital on the other side of the island so at the time it was not possible. Well, today, he came back and asked me if I would go with him to pray for his wife. Of course I will. Thank you Lord for the opportunity. A young believer named Adam goes along with me to pray.

Romella is departing for Hong Kong for further medical treatment. As I share with the two of them about why Jesus, they receive so easily. The Lord has truly prepared their hearts. After they receive, I pray for her healing. The anointing of the Lord was so strong.. Adam and I prayed for a New Heart, Neck loose (was a pinch nerve) and perfect vision! Thank you Lord! She could feel the touch of the Lord. I could feel the anointing going out. Adam could feel it and commented that it was so strong. Romella was pulling on the Lord and she was being instantly healed.

She did depart to go to Hong Kong, and what Mr. Prasad has shared is she is well. Thank you Jesus!
